A great fun day happened today. Each one of them wanted to take part. They happily and excitedly brought a scales, a mixer, flour, sugar, butter, a spatula, a big bowl, and all things needed for a cake to the middle of the room.
Today we gathered to play and had lunch together and the most important thing was the cake making.
Since a few days ago my son told me that he wanted to invite his friends and to make a special cake like the one from a book that he’s been reading: Elliot Stories: A Special Cake written by Andrea Beck. This morning he asked me again if I had send messages to his friends’ moms about it.
So, here we went. Six friends and their moms. We weigh the sugar and the flour, we cracked the eggs, we mixed them and put them into cups. Then we steamed them
Every one got two and one for someone at home.
From a simple thing, greatness came for a happy moment for a child lingers longer in their minds.
